The marketing dashboard provides you with a robust view of your most important metrics.

There are two filters on the marketing dashboard: date range and user(s). Most blocks will display data based on both filters except:

  • Email Activity - Scheduled Emails and Scheduled Campaigns will be affected by the user filter on it. They are both showing future sends so the date range is not needed. Sent Emails will be affected by both filters.

  • Current Engagement - will only change when filtering by user since this is a current snapshot

  • Current Contacts - will only change when filtering by user since this is a current snapshot. The exception here is the percent increase or decrease. That will take into account the date range selected.

The dashboard filters are sticky and will not change until you choose to do so. Logging in and out or leaving the dashboard will not affect your selection.

If you are an admin, you will be able to see all user's activities and data. If you are not an admin and your permissions have been restricted, you will only see your information on the dashboard.

The percentages found throughout the dashboard are showing an upward or downward trend for that statistic - when compared to previous time frames. Example: If I'm filtering for the last 30 days on the dashboard, the open rate percentage on the Email Performance block will compare the 30 days prior to the last 30 days and show me the percentage change and trend.

Below is an explanation of each block on the Sales Dashboard.

Email Activity:
The first part of this block is showing the number of emails sent FROM the filtered user(s) during the date range selected. The second part of this block is showing the number of all scheduled emails and scheduled campaigns in the future. The user is based on who the email is ‘from,’ not the user who sends/schedules the email. To drill down further, click on any number or the block title and jump to the Email History Report.

Current Engagement:
This block gives you helpful hints based on who is being nurtured and neglected and who is engaging and not engaging.

The nurtured graph shows the percentage of contacts in a contact ‘follow-up status’ that have not been sent an email in the past 30 days. Hovering over the graph will allow you to click through to either your nurtured or neglected contacts and will show exact numbers and percentages of each.

The engaged graph shows the percentage of contacts in a contact ‘follow-up status’ that have a positive contact score. Hovering over the graph will allow you to click through to either your engaged or unengaged contacts and will show you the exact numbers and percentages of each.

To edit which statuses are considered in a follow-up status, head to Account Settings > Customizations > Contact Status > Edit Statuses > check the follow-up box > Save Changes.

New Contacts:
This graph shows the number of contacts added by the selected user(s) for the chosen date range. The dates on the graph will be displayed individually, by week or by month depending on the date range chosen. Hovering over the graph will show you more details. Clicking on the bars of the graph or block title will take you to a contact list view filtered accordingly.

Current Contacts:
This block lists all contacts statuses, the number of contacts in each status and how many of those are engaged and neglected with the total at the bottom of the list. By default, the dashboard will display 5 statuses. Toggling on ‘SHOW ALL’ will display every status in your account. Clicking on any status, column header, or the block title will take you to the corresponding list of contacts.

Email Performance:
This block displays the total number of emails sent for the selected user and date range, the open rate, and click rate for those emails. The graph will highlight trends and movement for those rates. The dates on the graph will be displayed individually, by week or by month depending on the date range selected. Hovering over a point on the graph will display the exact percentage. Clicking on the block title or graph points will take you to the Email Sent by Day Report for further insights.

Campaign Performance:
This block shows how well your campaigns are performing based on user selected and date range chosen. Clicking through on the block title will take you to the Campaign Performance Report for further insights.

  • Contacts on a Campaign = contacts on a campaign within the date range selected (started before the end date and ended or will end after the start date). If filtering by a user instead of all users, Contacts on a Campaign are contacts with that user as the sales rep.

  • New Deals = deals created for ‘contacts on a campaign’ during the selected date range

  • Revenue Won = value of won deals created for ‘contacts on a campaign’ during the selected date range. Deals must have a status that is in a general deal stage of ‘won.’ To edit which deal stages are mapped to a general 'won' stage, go to Account Settings > Customizations > Deal Stages.

How are campaigns associated to deals? When a deal is created for a contact, the campaign with the most recent step the contact completed will be given credit for the deal.
