Prior to importing, make sure you have the first and last name fields in separate columns.

BenchmarkONE’s import wizard requires each value in your spreadsheet to be separated into its own column. This includes things like first name and last name. Some solutions however may not export data in that format.

Follow the steps below to separate the first and the last name fields into two columns.

  • Add an empty column to the right of the first / last name field --

  • Click on the first / last name column header, next select “Data” and then “Text to Columns.” Select “Delimited” and then Next to continue --

  • Make sure that only the SPACE tab is checked before clicking Next.

  • Click Finish.

  • Finally, be sure to add new column headers prior to import.
