Attaching Documents To A Contact Record

Upload and store important documents to a note.

Quickly upload a document to a contact record following these steps:

  • On the Contact Record, click on the Notes Tab

  • Click the +New Note button

  • In the pop-up window, select Attach a File in the bottom left corner to browse for the file you want to add (Ctrl + Click on the documents to select more than one at a time.)

  • In the pop‑up window, click Attach a File in the bottom‑left corner to browse for files to upload. To select multiple files at once, use Ctrl + Click (Windows) or Shift + Click to highlight more than one document before attaching.

  • The Subject and Body fields are required

  • You can choose to update the Last Contacted Date with the checkbox

  • Click the Create Note button and your note is complete!

You can always edit your notes by clicking on the pencil shaped edit icon at the far right of each individual note.


Notes: 

You can add up to 5 attachments per note.

Each attachment can be up to 25 MB in size. There is no overall limit on storage.
