Benchmark's newest AI-powered feature boosts your marketing efforts by automatically generating creative and captivating email content, speeding up the process of crafting engaging messages. Smart Content not only simplifies your workflow but also enhances engagement, ensuring your emails capture the attention they deserve.

You'll find the Smart Content icon next to the Personalize button within your editor navigation bar.

Here's how to use Smart Content-

  1. Access Email Templates by heading over to Emails > Email Templates in the top nav bar and select +New Email Template, or Edit an existing template from your list.
    ​Alternatively, this feature is available for quick send email designs, click on + Email in the upper right corner of your app.

  2. Add or Modify Text Blocks
    ​Add a new text block or click into an existing one.
    ​

  3. Click the Smart Content icon to the right of the Personalize button. The Smart Content module will appear.

  4. Choose Your Email Type
    Cold Introduction, Follow-up, Newsletter, Promote Services or Products, Promote a Webinar or Nurture Leads
    ​

  5. Define Your Audience (Optional)
    Tailor your content to a specific audience. Here are some examples you could use as prompts

    • Leads Interested in IT Services

    • Spanish-Speaking Students

    • Retail Buyers of Electronics

  6. Provide Context About Your Email
    Write a brief overview of your topic or enter your current content to be rewritten. The more detail you give, the better results Smart Content provides.

    • Highlight the main feature, benefit, or offer

    • Specify dates and times for events, promotions, or deadlines

    • Identify your target audience

    • Include relevant locations

  7. Select the Tone
    Friendly, Professional, Formal, or Casual
    ​

  8. Click Generate
    The AI suggestion will appear in the box below. Review the content and choose to Shorten Text, Create Longer Text, or Regenerate new content. Once you're happy with the results, click Apply to use the content. The new content will be appended to the already existed content. If you want to replace any content, highlight or remove the text; all other text will remain unchanged once Smart Content is applied.
