The reason messages from BenchmarkONE aren't being delivered could be due to your email system or spam filters blocking or flagging them as spam. To ensure successful delivery, you’ll need to create specific "allowances" for our emails, which is similar to "whitelisting." This means instructing your email service provider (ESP) to trust our system's emails so they bypass any filtering or blocking mechanisms.

Steps to Whitelist/Allow Emails from donotreply@bmesend.com

System emails will include, but are not exclusive to, daily activity and task notifications, form submission notifications, unsubscribe notifications, new user activations invitations, password reset emails and any internal automation notifications set up.

1. Add BenchmarkONE Domain and IP Range to the Allowlist in Your Email Service Provider or Spam Filter

For Microsoft 365/Exchange

  1. Log in to Microsoft 365 Defender Admin Center

    • Locate the section for IP Allow List or Connection Filter.

    5. Click Create filter, then select Never send it to spam.

    6. Save the filter.

3. Review Your Email Security System

  • If using an advanced email security system such as Barracuda, Proofpoint, or Mimecast, you may need to create a policy that allows emails from the specified IP range and domains, bypassing stricter filtering.

4. Test To An External Domain

  • Send test or notification emails from BenchmarkONE to external domains (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook).

  • Verify delivery in inbox or spam folders of these external accounts.

5. Monitor and Verify Delivery

After whitelisting, it’s important to:

  • Test delivery by sending a few emails to verify they are received.

  • Regularly monitor the ESP’s quarantine folder and spam filters to ensure that no important emails are being blocked.
